Rotora

Founded in the fall of 1999, Rotora strives to lead the brake systems aftermarket industry through rigorous research, design, engineering, along with extensive road and track testing to produce a superior brake system available out today. Previously established as an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of aftermarket brake components (calipers, brake discs, drums, and pads) in the mid 1980’s, Rotora utilized its technical and production knowledge gained from OEM to offer the very best in high performance brake system available today. With 3 company-owned foundries across the globe, Rotora’s high level of quality standard is not only assured under worldwide ISO 9000 Certification, but also from overseeing the whole production cycle from conceptual design to final product.

Rotora’s principal mission is to develop an uncompromising braking system to meet and exceed all required brake performance specifications in the severest conditions in the motor sports field. This drive towards higher innovative braking solutions not only involves exploring new materials and new technologies, but also the search for a dynamic brake design to achieve the very best balance between efficiency, stability, reliability, and controllability.

This long pursuit resulted in the development of the 2-piston, 4-piston, and the all new 6-piston caliper brake system with 2-piece directional vented discs (330mm and 355mm). Lightweight, rigid, and sophisticated in design, these brake systems enable superior brake modulation while improving overall pedal feel to ensure equal distribution of weight transfer when braking. To achieve this proportional brake balance, Rotora’s 2-piece cast aluminum calipers are fine tuned by increasing the clamp load to the optimal level while utilizing the stock master cylinder to retain overall front-to-rear brake bias. Designed and engineered to each specific application, these brake systems comes complete with a set of 1 or 2-piece vented drilled and/or slotted oversize discs, pre-assembled calipers (2, 4, or 6-piston), ceramic competition race pads, stainless steel brake lines (D.O.T. compliant), carbon steel mounting brackets (SC45), and all necessary hardware.

From its official acceptance into the domestic race scenes to D1 Grand Prix USA Drifting competitions, Rotora today proves to be a key supporter and a supplier of high performance brake components in the aftermarket industry, offering total-quality race products to reassure the confidence in the Rotora brand.Today, the company continues to manufacture a wide variety of the latest applications in high performance rotors, calipers, pads, and complete brake upgrade systems for the Domestic, Import, and European vehicles as well as producing dry carbon fiber racing components in which explores the latest technology of high pressure/high temperature “dry carbon” fiber process.

From pure craftsmanship to total performance, in the end, Rotora offers its highest level of commitment to its endeavors in all aspects of consumers’ demands for the very best in quality, safety, and cost performance products
